We're back. Welcome to the 12th edition of the Czech & Slovak Film Festival.
Our Film Festival Team is working around the clock to bring you the best film festival experience yet to come! We have secured many inspiring, emotionally profound and acclaimed Czech and Slovak films to captivate your attention.
Here are the details of festival accompanying extras.
The Czech & Slovak Film Festival will kick off on Wednesday, 2nd April with all the glamour of red-carpet big feature film that has made its mark on the international scene. Enjoy the buzz of Grand Opening Night with complimentary canapés, live music and Becherovka/Gin spirits.
Saturday, 5th April, the early afternoon will belong to our little film fans! As every year, we will be screening in an Australian premiere a beautiful fairytale, a surprise international hit for the enjoyment of the whole family. In the afternoon, from 1PM to 7PM you will be able to taste exquisite "Tea in Season" by Lucie Vanova. We will run a children raffle and there will be many exciting prizes to be won!
Our special guest this year is well-known actress to Czech and Slovak audiences, Vica Kerekes (SK, HU). An opportunity certainly not to be missed is a Q&A with the talented actress on Sunday afternoon, April 6, after the film. A glass of wine and many exciting raffle prizes await you at the final screening of the feature film.
This year's Czech & Slovak Film Festival will also present additional screenings in Sokol Sydney & Czechoslovakian Country Club. More information is coming soon.
